Angelika is an award-winning corporate compliance professional who specialises in developing pragmatic compliance solutions that focus on establishing an ethical culture and an effective assurance framework fit for the 21st century. She is a UK qualified lawyer and compliance expert with a particular interest in anti-trust and regulation, anti-bribery and corruption (FCPA and UKBA), sanctions and third party/supply chain risk management. She has practised in several leading law firms in London and Brussels and completed client secondments to HSBC, BAE Systems and the BBC.
In her current role at Royal Mail Group she deputises the Chief Compliance Officer and heads the central Group Compliance team. She primarily focuses on developing and implementing the compliance programme strategy and managing the associated framework covering all Group companies (more than 30 European countries, North America, China and Australia) and enterprise risk management of the Group’s compliance risks. As part of her role she is also responsible for budget and investment planning. Her primary passion lies with developing inclusive cultures and engaging with people from a diverse set of backgrounds.
She is a CBI nominated member of the Task Force on Anti-bribery/Corruption at the Business and Advisory Committee to the OECD.
